Chris works as a Lecturer in Health and Fitness at a College in Kent. He has spent most of the previous 10 years combining his two great passions - Fitness and Travel.
Having come back from a round the world excursion, last stopping at Nepal, Chris decided to undertake the Premier Diploma in Personal Training and Sports Therapy. Succesful completion of the courses saw Chris set up 'Next Step' fitness, his own business offering Sports Therapy and Fitness Training to a range of clients in south London. Although succesful the travel bug bit again and Chris took off to the southern hemisphere (Australia) via USA, coaching football along the way.
Once in Oz, Chris found work in a school setting up a private members fitness gym and organising the team training and fitness profiles for the major squads including the County Football team. The gym was particulalry succesful with membership topping out around 400. Now back in the UK Chris is undertaking research into the immune response to exercise and altitude and still loves to train. He will be appearing in a triathlon near you soon.
Andy started his career in personal training in 2002, upon graduating from St Marys University College, London. His first degree was in sports rehabilitiation and science and found the course to be an excellent grounding for work in the fledgling Personal Training industry. He built up a considerable client base while working at a Gym in Bow, before the pull of further qualifications attracted him to the University of Kent. He is currently studying for his PhD in the physiology of endurance performance.
The job he finds particualrly stimulating as he gets to work with all kinds of athletes from beginner to top class and Olympic. He lectures in Fitness Training Methods and Fitness testing. When not at his desk he can often be found running on a track or around the streets of London.
